Scottish & Newcastle, the UK’s largest brewer are looking for ways to show their disinterest in a hostile takeover by Carlsberg & Heineken. Although already in a joint vebture in the Baltics with Carlsberg, S&N are keen to show they will not be taken over easily. Full story here
